Requirements:
|
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Management, Healthcare Administration or Business. Masters preferred. Active WI RN license preferred. Three to five years of Medical Group or Healthcare related management experience required. Experience in a progressively responsible management position requiring program development, physician interaction,budget accountability and conflict resolution. Experience in physician practice management, quality improvement initiatives and business operations preferred. Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, interpersonal communication and customer service. Demonstrates ability to management complex change as well as flexibility and scheduling hours to meet the needs of the business.

Description:

The Medical Practice Operations Manager is administratively responsible for the management of clinical and business operations, physician practice management, program marketing and development. This position provides administrative support to providers and associates. This includes the planning, coordination and direction of all aspects of the department. Prepares, submits and maintains accountability for operational and capital budgets of assigned practice(s). Monitors budgets through monthly variance justification and daily supply and human resource management. Operations are to be focused on customer service and in creating an effective and cooperative practice environment for medical group physicians and associates. The Medical Practice Operations Manager supports organizational strategic goals, quality patient care and efficient business practices through the establishment and monitoring of clinical, business and service excelelnce standards. She/he uses quality monitoring outcomes to improve/modify patient care and provides ongoing feedback to staff regarding unit performance indicators. Collaborates effectively with disciplines acrossthe healthcare system and serves as a community liaison for department functions. This position directs the functions of nurses, medical office assistants, customer service associates and other technical and support personnel at the locaiton. Recruits and retains qualified associates in order to maintain appropriate staffing targets. Provides ongoing training and performance feedback to individual associates by establishing goals and developmental plans. Establishes and maintains staff competency in all defined areas of performance and clinical practice.
The Prompt Care clinic is open evenings and weekends, therefore occasional evenings and weekends may be required to support business operations.
