Requirements:
|
High School Education or Equivalent. Surgical Tech degree or CNA license required. Previous GI experience preferred but not required.
*Possesses organizational and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to utilize effective communication in patient/staff/physician/ interdepartmental relationships.
*Ability to maintain stable performance levels under conditions of pressure and multiple demands.
*Must possess basic knowledge of endoscopy: care, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection.
*Must also have the knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts and application of the principles of asepsis.
Shifts are a combination of 4 or 8 hour shifts and call. Requires weekend commitment. Start time will vary during day shift hours.

Description:
|
Supports quality care by assisting with Endoscopy procedures and delivery of patient care, maintaining operational functions of the Endoscopy area and records maintenance under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or Nursing Director.
Includes "on call" hours to meet patient needs.
