Requirements:
|
High School or Equivalent (GED)degree.
Must have computer skills, including word-processing, charge entry, Word/Excel abilities and have experience in medical terminology and outpatient registration/scheduling. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be able to function effectively under the pressure of deadlines and frequent interruptions. Dependability, accuracy, and confidentiality are essential, as is the ability to deal effectively with visitors, patients, staff and physicians.

Description:

This Rehabilitation Technician position is primarily for weekend shifts in support of our inpatient hospital-based departments. Occasional weekday shifts may be available as well.
The Rehabilitation Services Technician II assists in therapy interventions under the direct supervision of a therapist. The Technician II provides support when physical demands require the assistance of two or more. The Technician II is responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and environment of care needed to provide our patients with excellent service. In addition, the Rehab Tech completes clerical duties including computer based charge entry and scheduling in the department of Rehabilitation Services.
