Requirements:

CPC or CCS certified with LPN, Medical Assistant or high school graduate with five (5) years experience in ICD-9 and CPT Coding.
Must have or achieve RHIT, CPC or CCS certification within 1 year of hire.

Description:
|
This position is responsible for assisting the department in educating all areas of the Medical Group in ICD-9 and CPT coding, other billing rules and the monitoring of third party reimbursement. This includes maintaining the systems that support these issues, review of edits and evaluation of appeals for claims submission or resubmission.
